Dr. Gouws is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of California. He has 15 years of experience covering the fields of accounting, forensic accounting, auditing, not-for-profit auditing, income tax, strategic planning, general management consulting, change management as well as active involvement in the academia.  He has served in a number of prestigious executive positions, heading various committees as well as organizations. Prior to starting this accounting practice in San Diego he worked for a large regional accounting firm in New Hampshire.

He holds various degrees from top tier institutions.  He holds a Doctorate Degree in Business Management, an MBA degree and obtained with distinction a Masters Degree in Accounting and Finance.  He passed his CPA board exams the first time with an average score of 91%.
